Welcome to my web page.

My name is Mike Haefner, I am a Quality Assurance professional and am retired as a supplier Manufacturing Engineer formerly employed by major subcontractor of commercial and military aircraft structures.

HAM RADIO

My hobby is Amateur Radio, more commonly known as Ham Radio. I have an Extra class license and am a volunteer examiner for ARRL, W5YI and National Radio Examiners. I also am a Skywarn storm spotter for Tarrant County RACES.

My Ham Radio call sign is N5YM.

LEAN SIX SIGMA & CONTINUOUS PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

Continuous improvement is an ongoing effort to improve products, services or processes.

These efforts can seek “incremental” improvement over time or “breakthrough” improvement all at once.
